"After reading Sanjo's interview on Otona Anime Magazine.The reason Sanjo uses Chrysalimon because it didn't get to appear in 'Bokura no War Game/Movie 2', and also Ruki appears in the ep is because he's interested in the character of Riki, and Xros Wars had extended the possibilities of Digimon Series, and they will continued to release Digimon products in the future. "
Many of you may ask what do you mean "Xros Wars had extended the possibilities of Digimon Series", it means that Xros Wars has create more variety of style in the Digimon series, meaning: the DigiXroses(Fuze together)...etc.
Many of you have noticed, each Digimon series has its individual themes, for example:
Adventure:Literally meaning Adventure in Digital World, with regular evolution.
Adventure 02: continuation 3 years after the Adventure series, they call it "02" because the setting is in the year of 2002 as well as the 2nd season of adventure. With Armor Evolution, and Jogress fusion evolutions.
Tamers: Tamers, train Digimon, and card slashes, and Human fuze with Digimon. Instead of Human only holding Digivice and let Digimon evolve, you use techiniques to fight.
Frontier: Power ranger?(LOL) transformation. Human actually fights.
Savers: A squad team that creates balance and peace with Human World and Digital World, burst evolution was introduce.
Xros Wars: DigiXros and evolution was introduced. Chosen General gather armies, then 3rd arc is about hunting Digimon.
Anyways let's look forward for more Digimon product releases, and hoping for a new season :)

ReplyDeleteSo, far.. I think the latest Digimon hype is Re: Digitize game. Personally, I think its shaping out quite well.. Reverting back to the classic Shinka system, (Unfortunately as well the lifespan feature returns for your partner.) decent human character designs that rather screams "anime series" and of course, a decent Xros Over element in it with Taichi and Sora.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the PSP game will revitalize the interest for the franchise. Sure Xros Wars has finally ended, but that doesn't mean Digimon is gone for good. It just needs to look for fresh and unexplored ideas that shall tantalize both the fandom and the market.

ReplyDeleteI just hope the next season (if it will exist) don't be three or four years late like Frotier to Savers and Savers to Xros Wars.
ReplyDeleteFinally a new post lol I've been checking back every day to gear if there's any news on what's going on with the series. Well, I guess for the meantime it's good news to hear that the franchise will continue :)

ReplyDeleteIt's pretty much Jogress Evolution named differently just to make it look like something new.
Well.. there's a weapon created from Digimons thrugh DigiXros. But yeah, agree with you.
DeleteJogress evolution and DigiXros are two different things:
Delete-In jogress the two digimon combine and form a new digimon with both souls in the body, they combine and go a level higher e.g. 2 adults combine to form an ultimate
-in digixros one digimon is the core and the digimon/s become/s a body part or a weapon for the core digimon
